Favorite Natural Eye Pallets

I've tried a good share of palettes and these palettes are definitely palettes that I'd recommend to anyone. Because they are very natural and have a good range of matte to shimmer shades these palettes can be taken from day to night in a swipe of a blending brush. I hope you all enjoy and hopefully in the future I can start sharing some looks I've made with these palettes!

1.Tarte In Bloom Palette-This is semi-new but I've been enjoying this more than ever. The colors are perfect and the pigmentation is amazing. This is the second palette to  the Tartelette palette which has cool purple tones and is all matte.

2.Covergirl Trunaked Nudes Palette-I'm always down for a good drugstore find and this is definitely one. This palette acceded my expectations for any drugstore palette, I'm so glad I found this so I'm not constantly making my wallet cry.

3.Urban Decay Naked Palette-I know this may be a predictable one but it's so worth the hype. There are so many deferent looks to make with this palette and is definitely always in my suitcase.

4.Lorac Pro Palette-This is the first high end palette I've ever bought about a year ago, and I have never tried another high end palette that has ever compared to how creamy this palette is. There is now a Lorac pro 2 & 3 palette and hopefully soon I'll be able to get my hands on these.

5.Kat Von D Shade And Light Eye Contour Palette-Ever since I purchased this palette it has been my go to everyday palette. These colors go together so well and blend perfectly with or without a eye primer. Quick Tip-If you have hooded eye lids matte colors like these are perfect for the appearance of a more lifted eye.

Top 5 summer trends!

Lots of new trends has sprouted this summer....and needless to say I'm loving all of them. The best part is that these trends aren't going to break your bank account, they're universal styles that can be found in any online boutique or in any clothing store. So these are my top 5 trends that I've been rocking this summer.

DVF Giselle Gingham Print Top and shorts
1.Matchy-matchy: I'm all about the bright colors and patterns whether it'd be spring, summer, or fall; thats why this trend is perfect for me. Top high end brands have been selling these sets as well as small boutiques making this trend available to everyone.

LuLu's No Place Like Home Blue Lace Chambray top

2.Cold shoulder/off the shoulder: This trend is something that I've been wearing the most. I love to wear this type of top or dress with a statement necklace or some statement earrings. I love LuLu's off the shoulder dresses, that's where my obsession with this trend came from.

LuLu's Roman Sandals
3.Gladiator Sandals: When I first saw people wearing this style I though wow.....I could never pull this off, but honestly now these are my new go-to summer sandal to pull together any look. I saw this style around the end of last summer and I promised myself I would get a pair this year and couldn't be any happier!

4.Henna Tattoos: Now this may not be considered a fashion trend but it's definitely one that should be considered a fashion trend. Henna tattoos are basically tattoos that last a couple of weeks; people do beautiful bohemian designs. I'm putting this in with my top 5 because these tattoos have been replacing necklaces, bracelets, and even rings, when you have something so pretty like this already on why even bother to try to accessorize?

Victoria's Secret Long Line Bombshell

5. Everything strappy:Almost every tank top this season has some kind of strappy back to it. But just not tank tops have been getting strappy but bathing suits and even shoes have been getting strappy this season. I'm in love with this Victoria's Secret bikini top, I will admit the tan lines may be weird but it won't stop me!

My basic makeup routine

I like my makeup simple quick and easy. All though there are days where I like to spice it up and get creative but on a daily basis....it just doesn't happen. So here is my step by step makeup routine, these are products that I've been using for awhile and has never failed me. I encourage some of you to use these products and see how they work for you and give me some product suggestions, I'm always open!

1.Primer- I have moderate to dry skin so this Makeup Forever primer is perfect for my skin type in the moisturizing formula. They have various types of formulas for everyone.

2.Foundation-I've been switching between these two foundations for awhile because there is really no difference in formula just a slight change in color (accept the 3-in-1 is a bit thicker). I like to apply these with the Real Techniques beauty blender or with just a flat top buffer brush. These foundations don't oxidize which is probably my biggest issue when it comes to picking out foundation.

3.Concealer-This is one makeup item that I can truly say I haven't tried anything better. I've tried so many concealers and I can honestly say this one is my favorite. The biggest problem I have with concealers is creasing, this would irritate me so much. So I saw some reviews on this concealer and decided to bite the bullet and buy it. I normally don't buy products that are hyped up by youtubers but this was definitely worth it.

4.Setting powder-I don't always use setting powder; I only use it on the days I feel like I might be needing it. Because this is a very matte setting powder and I'm leaning towards drier skin I only use it when I know I'll be sweating. My concealer and my foundations seem to have no problem staying on my face, but I definitely love this in the summer to help control oil. This powder is in translucent but they also come in a VERY small range of colors.
Rommel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

5.Contour/Bronzer- So since I do have a darker complexion there is a limited amount of shades to contour/bronze with. This powder foundation is the perfect shade for me, I have yellow undertones so I like the outside of my face to have a more pinkish redish undertone and I love it. I actually discovered this product through my mom, she used this as her foundation for awhile and didn't really like it so I figured it wouldn't hurt if I tried it as a bronzer.
Urban Decay Ultra Definition Powder Foundation

6.Highlight-I love to glow! I'll admit this is the only highlighter I've bought and I honestly don't have a need to buy any others. This company is known for their highlighters and is now known for their Champagne Pop highlighter that they collaborated with Jacklyn Hill with. I'll be honest I tried Champagne Pop in Sephora and it was just too frosty for me thats why I went with Opal.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector

7.Brows-Last but not least! I've recently started paying more attention to my brows and I wanted a good product but without spending the big bucks. A lot of people compare this product to the Anastasia Brow Wiz which I personally haven't tried yet but I don't feel the need to spend $20 dollars when I have this product that I only have to pay half the price for. I definitely recommend trying this product first before testing any other expensive brands.
Nyx Micro Brow Pencil

Thank you everyone for reading!  I'm open to product suggestions and post suggestions as well. Hope you have a great day ;)
P.s-I know I didn't include eyeliner or mascara because that'll be in  whole other post by itself....I had too much to say lol ;)

Beach in style

So as the summer is officially in full gear the beaches will be everyone's number 1 priority. All through we all love the beach and the sun....you can't go unprepared. Here's a guide to the cutest bathing suits, most protective sunscreen and the most comfortable foot wear; and a little extra;)

1.Swim suits: This one is first on my list because honestly who doesn't think of a swim suit when the word summer is said. I have about 2 different moods when it comes to swim wear; Bikinis or a 1 piece. So here are some options of both that I'll definitely be sporting on the beach this summer.

This bikini is from Triangl swim in the triangle style. Probably my number one go to for swim this year. The color is beautiful but they also have the same style but in different colors and patterns.
price:$79

This off the shoulder bikini top from Forever 21 is one of the many new styles out for this season. I love this top because not only can you wear this at the beach (or pool) but you can also just throw some shorts on and no one would know the difference.
price:$14.90

Ugh! Do I have to explain why this is one of my favorite one pieces? I wasn't able to find the other one I was looking for which was blue, but honestly so so so cute. One of my favorite ways to wear this types of swimsuit is with ripped high waisted shorts and gladiator sandals..... or you could just wear it by itself and jump in the water lol.
price:Fynation-$26

This simple one piece from Lulu's is such a staple for your bathing suit collection. Its slimming and so cute to sit out on the dock with a floppy hat and iced tea. (A girl can dream). But I'd recommend this for anyone; it's classic and will never go out of style.
price:$90

2.Sunscreen: Whether you tan easily or burn easily protection from the sun should be your number 1 concern. Personally I'm more of a tanning girl but as well as sun tan oil the makeup I put on I make sure it has some kind of spf in it. Also keeping your skin moisturized can prevent peeling and premature wrinkles especially on a day where you know you'll be out in the sun extra long.

This is such a good staple to have in your beach bag it's easy to put on, small enough to put in your purse and water resistance. I love Sugar products so when I found out that they had a stick sunscreen I had to try it. This product honestly comes everywhere with me whether I'm at the beach or not it's so easy to put in my bag and go.
price:$25

This is Banana boat's sun tanning oil; I have been using this for as long as I can remember....need I say more. This oil has not only gotten me darker in a shorter amount of time but has limited my skin peeling next to nothing. This is my number 1 hands down favorite tanning oils, I'd even recommend checking out some of their heavy duty sunscreens if you need it ;)
price:$6.49

3.Footwear: Soooo finding a pair of shoes that are sturdy enough for summer adventures and can still get a little dirty in the sand is hard to find. That's why I only have a couple of sandals to show you but theses are definitely worth the investment.

I just recently got my first pairs of Birkenstocks. Honestly my first impressions on these shoes were that they weren't going to last in the sand and water and I'd have to get some cheap flip flops for my summer shoe. But this was not the case, in fact the complete opposite. Their sturdy and dry easily couldn't of thought of anything better to invest my money in this summer.
price: $89

Chacos are one of my recent finds I've been loving because it's a hiking sandal! Theses sandals were made for the rough and tuff outside weather so I couldn't imaging taking these with me on my summer adventures.
price:$105

Thank you all so much! I hope one of my favorites will soon be yours too;)
